To see what each step looks like on your phone, just click each step and check out the picture. You can also use the arrow keys on your keyboard.

  • All you need to do is:
  • 1. From the main display press the menu key.
  • 2. You'll now see "Maximise Panel" highlighted.
  • 3. Next, simply press the centre key.
  • 4. You'll now see various options displayed.
  • 5. Using the track pad, scroll to highlight "Options".
  • 6. Once highlighted, press the centre key.
  • 7. You'll now see "Sounds and Ringtones" highlighted.
  • 8. Using the track pad, scroll down until "Secuity" is highlighted.
  • 9. Once highlighted, simply press the centre key.
  • 10. Next, you'll see "Password" highlighted.
  • 11. Using the track pad, scroll down until "Security Wipe" is highlighted.
  • 12. Once highlighted, press the centre key.
  • 13. You'll now see various options displayed.
  • 14. Using the track pad, scroll down until the cursor is in the text field.
  • 15. Then, type in the word "blackberry".
  • 16. Once entered, using the track pad and highlight wipe.
  • 17. Now press on the centre key.
  • 18. The phone will then start to restore itself.
  • 19. And that's it! You'll now be able to restore the factory settings.
